Bad Dogs: How to they become Bad

Bad Dogs: How to they become Bad

by Calvin Wapasa

Is there any such thing as a naturally bad dog? Mostly it is a bad handler. It really gets on your nerves when a dog jumps up to soil whatever you are wearing. The dog next door might also prefer to leave his calling cards on your front yard. Would you like to call them bad dogs? They are as bad as the children next door who are out of control.

How can you blame the pups or kids when the adults are not behaving responsibly? Ask any good owner and he would admit that taking the help of a dog trainer is the best way to understanding dog handling without hampering his spirits. Either you contact your vet office or pet store to get to meet a trainer or seek online help and tackle your pet problem before it goes out of hand.

This training program includes lessons where owners are taught how to control their pets. At times, trainers will admit it's easier to train the dog than the owner! You want to leash train your dog before you take him out in a park or public but before you do this you must get them accustomed to it first. Both owners and neighbors get angry when they hear barking which although irritating is quite normal behavior.

Barking is a behavior which is extremely annoying to both owners and neighbors. When they bark, they are simply communicating with us; a reprimand him might give them the wrong signal and confuse them. Remember when the dog needs your attention, is hungry or thirsty, they will bark. The dog barking can also show of potential burglars so shutting him up completely may not be a wise idea. Be careful not to laugh and playfully encourage a puppy to bark and then get angry at him months later when he barks louder as an adult.

Trainers teach you how to promote the behavior you prefer by praising your pet and giving them the occasional treat. Once your pet is rewarded regularly for good behavior they will begin to stop displaying the negative traits. Most important to note: you can not expect a dog to learn certain behaviors which are against his genetic behavioral pattern.

You can not teach a dog some behavioral pattern which contradicts his natural breed. To make your pet follow specific behavioral training, you ought to choose one from a breed with can give you what you need. For a dog to be well-trained, you require affection, tolerance and dedication. - 20511
