Raising Puppies

Raising Puppies

by Amanda Somrekli

Many dogs suffer from separation anxiety. When left alone dogs with separation anxiety may destroy furniture and whine and bark incessantly. In such a scenario, once again the familiar surroundings of his crate will help to ease the anxiety while keeping your furniture intact at the same time.

Most puppies will whine or bark during the first few days of being put in their crate. Once they begin to accept this new restriction on their freedom, they quiet down and actually learn to enjoy it. Growing puppies need to alternate between periods of activity and rest throughout the day.

Printing puppy pictures can also be done in a photo shop. Since they have the finest equipment to print the photos, you can rely on them for better pictures. However, you need to consider additional costs when you have them printed from photo shops.

Get him a selection of toys and rotate them. Puppies can get bored easily and switching the toys around makes them seem always new. Teething puppies love chew toys and all dogs love a Kong stuffed with peanut butter. They can spend hours trying to clean it all out.

Puppies learn quickly when their behavior is associated with a reward. Behavior that doesn't result in a reward often disappears. It's normal for many puppies to bark or whine when first being crate-trained.

Here are some few tips that can help stopping your puppies from biting:If you see your puppies biting, just say "NO" and try to take their attention away by using a toy or a chew bone.

Every time your puppies bite, make your puppies think that they are hurting you by crying out loud (Ouch!). What you want to do here is to take puppies attention away with your voice, and stop playing with them for a while. Repeat this method several times and they will soon learn that nobody want to play with them when they start to bite.

The journey is exciting and can be very satisfying for both you and your dog, keeping in mind the puppy developmental stages, enjoy your puppy while he is a puppy, because as with children, the time passes way too fast and then they are grown up!

Have you ever felt compelled to do something, and not known why? Yet you have just done it, followed the urge, and found yourself in an amazing situation to do good, and do something almost heroic, and yet known, why you ever had that urge in the first place?

You can also ask your vet for oral cleansing gel to apply topically for control of bacteria and aid in healing injured or sore gums while puppies are teething. - 20511
