It has two parts; a potable transmitter, which is called DC 20 and a portable colour screen GPS device which is hand-held. To activate the system, the transmitter and hand-held should be taken out doors and turned on to acquire satellite signals. The transmitter is then worn on the dog. The system can monitor up to 10 dogs at the same time.
