Ordinarily, particularly in small spaces, male dogs are claimed by some dog owners to be more hostile and destructive. If you want to have dogs that are better to train and more affectionate in nature, then you might as well settle for the female dogs as they are perceived to have those characteristics.
You just can't generally say that these stereotypes are true and relevant to all since it will still vary from the breed of the dog. If you know how to manage a dog being in heat or is ready to undergo his pet to the neutering method, then you might as well go for a female dog. Doggie birth control is an essential issue that you have to deal with since it will prevent additional litters of pups, but if you just wont take the initiative to do so, then you better continuously find homes for those.
Don't ever think that female dogs have the menopause, thus, it is possible for female dogs to have pups whenever they want to, not like with the human female that has a lot of issues to deal with first. Every year, it is really inevitable that male dogs would catch the scent of your female dog even though you'd keep her inside your house so you are more likely to spend weeks trying to watch over your dog. On the other hand, if you have a pure bred dog that you want to type, then having a female dog can become a financial advantage.
To mark their territory, which be from the outside of your home or even just around the corners of your room is something that male dogs can't really avoid doing. They do this by peeing on their "spot" so they can find it again. Marking his territorial dominion is one of the male dog's natural instincts - training him not to do that can be possible but it is also like asking him never to bark again. If you have another male dog in the household, expect a battle for who rules the home, particularly if both want to be alpha dogs. Even a smaller male dog will challenge or irritate the larger male - just to prove who was in the home first.
Dogs tend to interact well with dogs which are in different genders than with those dogs of similar gender. Although male dogs seem to be more malicious with each other than female dogs, some females don't want to share their space with another dog. Normally, you will find no difficulty dealing with female dogs when it comes to house school as compared to male dogs which can be hostile and reluctant, although that can vary by breed and by the skill of the dog trainer. By and large, the high level of activity as well as energetic spirit belongs to the male dogs, but certain breeds are "high strung" in both males and females. Many of the average individuals who are shopping for a dog would definitely look for a female dog. The idea that those dogs which are easier to train and less hostile are the female ones is more likely to be the thought that they believe in.
But, being highly emotional is a fact with most female dogs that those people tend to forget. Dog breeders tend to favor male dogs as an easier pet to control. You can't totally rely to what the gender can tell you when it comes to predicting the possible behavior of the dog since it cant be reliable enough. There are breeds that set aside the sex since some of their features are likely to be retained such as being calm and tolerant whether the dog is a female or a male. But males and females of breeds which are energetic, nippy and difficult to handle usually have those traits within them.
Given that no scientific evidence is presented that can make the guessing of the features of males and females and comparison for each gender possible, then the decision about dog sex is fundamentally subjective. It is possible that the qualities of a friend's pet that truly surprised you is more likely to influence your decision or maybe those childhood memories that you had with your previous pet.
You can remember of a gentle female Collie who once had cared enough for each and every litter of puppies and that you may think as the trait of an ideal dog to have. Or that rough and tumble large male dog may be the one that you can think of since it can tirelessly play, keep up and run hard with those curious children. It would be fine to follow your instincts in making the decision of selecting what dog is best for you to have that could either be a female or a male dog. Whatever choice you make, as long as you have thought about it well, then that will definitely be the right one for you. - 20511
