The dog training for a dog will not be that hard, but at the same time, it is not easy. You are going to discover that training a dog to use a leash has its hard time, especially when they are a puppy. Each breed of dog has their own ways of learning. First, you will need the right collar and leash for your size of dog. The leash needs to be short at arm's length to assure the dog can be tugged to tell them no and for you to have good control.

The Owners responsibility is to make sure they're getting their proper training through obedience. The dog will listen more and know what actions he is suppose to do if you teach them the basic no, sit, come here, and the famous roll over. This is the entire key to teaching them about leash training.

If you're experience pulling from your dog, you will need to have a shorten leash to have full control. You may already know that big dogs such as the American Stafford terrier or the Doberman like to pull. When you leash train, you need to find the best place to put your leash to teach them it's time to go outside.

The first stages of the puppy life they will fight the leash because they do not know exactly what it is. We highly recommend you picking a certain time everyday to do your leash training. When you do your leash training, you should always be the dominate master.

The teaching done by you is important when they are just puppies before they reach the hard headed stages. You will find teaching them younger is a lot more easy then trying to teach them when older.
