Dog Photo Frames For Your Four-legged Friend

Dog Photo Frames For Your Four-legged Friend

There isn't an area on the face of the earth where dogs aren't loved and appreciated. Australian Shepherds herd cattle in the Outback. Labrador Retrievers retrieve game birds shot by hunters worldwide. Siberian Huskies pull sleds through the snows of the Artic. The love and devotion shown by dogs is recognized around the world. No matter the size, dogs are great protectors and companions. A five-pound Lhasa Apso will protect its family as vigilantly as a 70-pound German Shepherd. When you want to display a photo of your companion and protector shouldn't you display the picture in a frame designed for them?

When dog owners display family photos, the family canine is usually included. If a picture of the family is taken, you can count on the fact that the dog is going to be included in the grouping. A picture of the dog is often proudly displayed along with the rest of the family. Frames are chosen for other family members with care and a dog picture frame is no different than a frame chosen for the other family members.

Picture frames designed for the canine in your life range from elegant to simplistic. They can be traditional or whimsical. The dog owner has a multitude of choices when it comes to the frame that they wish to use to display the family companion. There are frames that are suitable for dogs as regal as the Great Dane and as whimsical as a Jack Russell Terrier.

The picture of the family dog can be displayed in a frame that shows the love and devotion given by the dog and reciprocated by the master. A portrait of the family dog displayed in a frame that was designed for that dog leaves no doubt as to that fact. The viewer of the picture can instantly understand the feelings that are displayed in the picture.

Picture frame materials can range widely. Materials used in construction include pewter, leather, wood ceramics and polished metal. Dog picture frames come in all sizes and are made to fit standard size photographs without trimming. Dog pictures can be displayed individually or placed within a group of other framed pictures. The individualized frame for the dog sets it apart from other pictures in the group.

To ensure that there is no doubt as to whose snapshot is supposed to be in the frame, dog picture frames often are accented with dog themed subjects. Paw prints, bones, the word "dog" or "woof" are often added to the frames. These accents ensure that the viewer knows that the frame is exclusively for the dog and isn't something that was picked up at the local discount store as an afterthought.

If the family dog is a registered breed, there are frames designed specifically for that breed. If the owner desires to have no question raised as to what breed the family companion is, a breed-specific frame may be just the ticket. If the American Kennel Club recognizes a breed there is a frame designed expressly for that breed.

There are few dog owners who do not consider the four-pawed resident of their home a member of the family. These canine family members can have their picture displayed in a frame that befits their unique status. It matters not if the dog came from humble beginnings or an expensive breeder. The dog may or may not have registration papers but the only paper that really counts is the picture of the dog displayed in a picture frame that shows the love and devotion on both sides of the family. - 20511
