If you want a creature that will charm and amaze everyone with its jewel-like appearance and charming character then you will want to decide on the Bichon. Pronounced as bee-shon, this dazzling little hairy companion is everything you want on social and fashion gatherings. Social because, unlike other companions, it blabbers less and charms more; and fashionable because its curly, thick, and shiny of a hair is comparable to human couture.
Bichons only stand 9-12 inches, making them perfect for cuddling and for those grab-and-go moments. They are so adorably doll-sized they can effortlessly fit in your bag! Their hypnotically shiny and curly pelts are 3-4 inches thick but it would seem they are hypo-allergenic, too- so those who have allergies can unrestrictedly own one.
A Bichon has an obvious happy spirit that you can easily prove through its merrily waving tail and curiously expressive dark eyes. Its walk shows off a graceful and sure step that truly shows off its elegant bearing. And like a true royal creature, it moves with its neck and head erect.
Additionally, when trained well, they can be well-behaved and good-mannered around people. These pets are smart, easily trained, and have an intrinsic caring, amiable and affectionate soul. It's their desire to see everyone happy, they deliberately love human company and they are at their happiest when they are made to feel like a leg of the family.
These fluffy little pets are full of life and zest and are unexpectedly independent. They may look tiny beside humongous breeds but they are no less than capable in terms of firm and peaceful interaction with other animals. Large dogs may fight with smaller animals but with Bichon, there's only peace and harmony.
Bichons are unwearingly playful and therefore are acceptable with young people. They make first rate playmates for children because they are matched in enthusiasm and energy. With these sociable and peace-loving animals around, you can feel safe for other young children, strangers and other companions.
Active dogs, such as the little Bichon, need a dose of daily walks. Without this regular exercise, the chances of behavioral problems will most likely afflict them. To be sure they are kept busy at the right times, take them for a short walk and once in a while, let them loose for a frolic at a safe open area or a wide space.
Their pelts come in hues of powder white, cream, apricot or gray but to keep them superbly beautiful, it is recommended that they are bathed once in a month and be groomed always. Their curly hair may grow out and cover their expressively smart eyes so always keep a blunt pair of scissors handy for trimming. You may also want to get help from professional pet groomers so try bringing them there at least once a month. - 20511
