There are many reasons why Golden retrievers are consistently one of the most popular choices for family pets today. This breed is exceedingly friendly and playful, making it an excellent choice with children of all ages. The dogs are also fairly bright and eager to please, making Golden retriever training worth the time and effort to teach a dog how to behave.

Training golden retrievers is far from possible, but be aware that it will also take time and patience for you to succeed in this training. Even though Golden retrievers are intellectual and are happy to please, they have such high energy that can make training challenging as it would be hard to keep their attention while in training.
